It has a lot of functionality. It&#8217;s not required in this class, but you may enjoy using it. Here&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markdownguide.org\/getting-started\/\">guide<\/a><\/li>\n<li>If you plan on typing any of your solutions for this class, I highly recommend using LaTeX (prounced &#8220;Lay-tech&#8221; or &#8220;La-tech&#8221;). Again, this is not a requirement for this class &#8211; the much easier option is to neatly hand write your solutions. If you do want to try LaTeX, here are some things that might help:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/\">Overleaf<\/a> is an online LaTeX editor that is one of the more straightforward ways of getting started.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/learn\">New to LaTeX guide<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.nd.edu\/~kogge\/courses\/cse30151-fa17\/Public\/other\/tikz_tutorial.pdf\">guide<\/a> to drawing DFAs in LaTeX.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Misc Course Material:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;re interested in learning more about the current state of the P vs NP problem, check out this great overview by Scott Aaronson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottaaronson.com\/papers\/pnp.pdf\">P=?NP<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course Logistics: How to prepare for class each day Link to our sharepoint.
