There will be some sense of repetition in our class structure, so here is some advice.
Before class
- Complete the reading (find a link on the Schedule, or directly in Gradescope) and submit your answers to questions in Gradescope
- As you’re reading, note questions that you have.
- After you finish reading, attempt some of the questions at the end of the section/chapter. This is not mandatory, but will help in the long term! The more effort you spend on digesting the reading up front, the less time it will take you to complete labs and problem sets.
During class
- Bring with you every day: Your textbook, paper, a writing utensil, and your questions from the reading.
- Take notes during the first part of class, when there will be full class discussion/lecture
- Ask questions!
- Engage with your lab group, ask them questions when you don’t understand!
After class
- Arrange with your lab group when you will meet to finish the lab (if you haven’t already)
- Arrange with your lab group who will submit the lab on gradescope, and arrange for everyone to have a copy of the completed lab. Also make sure that everyone’s name gets attached to the submission!
