To prepare for this class, we’ll do something a little different. In class we will be doing mock-interviews for the first time.<\/p>\n

Watch the following video on YouTube. This material is for a “senior software engineer”, so I don’t expect you to understand the information necessarily. Instead, as you watch, take note of how both Dan and Sophie behave as the interviewee and interviewer. How much are they speaking? What kinds of things are they saying? Does the interviewee have any particular strategies?<\/p>\n

Watch starting from 7:30 through the end. This portion of the video contains the technical interview as well as reflections from both Dan and Sophie. The reflections are really valuable, don’t skip them!<\/p>\n

There is nothing you need to submit after watching the video. Come to class ready to discuss.
